The Winnipeg Jets placed defenceman Toby Enstrom on injured reserve Friday and recalled Brandon Tanev from the AHL.
Enstrom underwent surgery Thursday after suffering a lower-body injury on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is expected to miss two to three weeks. The defenceman has one goal and 14 points in 55 games this season.
Tanev, 25, has scored five points in 10 games with the Manitoba Moose in 2016-17 while recording four points in 39 games with the Jets.
