Another macedonian hit the ice in the new NHL season, Brandon Tanev. The brother of Vancouver Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev was vicorious in the season opener vs the Hurricane, in overtime 5:4.
Brandon made some 8 minutes ice time with one shot on goal. Also he was raising his average time of a minute and half in the pre season, the winger got 2:38 minutes shorthanded play.
After his debut last spring (3 games) Tanev is looking forward for the first full season for the Jets.
