The Boris Trajkovski sports hall opened its new hockey and iceskating rink. The hall already had a plastic skating rink, but it’s now upgraded into a real ice rink.
“On 15 November we opened our school for ice skating, and we will also have the rink open for hockey practice. Besides the skating school and the hockey practice, the rink will be open for individual skaters”, hall manager Zlatko Perinski said.
Perinski added that the rink is now used by three skating schools, with lowest age group of students set at 4 years. Ksenija Jastasenski Simic, ice skating trainer, said that the beginners school has six international competitions planned for the next year, and has already won a number of awards in the past three years since the school has been open.
Over 300 kids are enrolled in various levels at the skating schools, and the number of visitors for the past year is put at about 50.000. Tickets for individual skating will be priced at 100 denars, with additional 50 denars to lease skates.
