After 5 year break Metalurg Skopje will attend again in Dolenjske Toplice

 

After a 5 year break HK Metalurg Skopje will attend again at the traditional Inline Hockey Tournament in Dolenjske Toplice, Slovenia, on June 4th.

Last appearance was in 2017, when Metalurg made its best performance at the tournament and gained the third place. The arena in Dolenjske Toplice is maybe one of the finest open inline rinks in Europe. The tournament as well, has a great renown in the country and top teams are participating.

This year the hockey club Dolenjske Toplice will also celebrate its 30th anniversary. So the organisers invited 4 more teams, make it a total of 12 teams competing.

Metalurg Skopje is not the only team outside Slovenia, but the remotest team competing. Two teams from neighboring Croatia will also be part of the happening.

Dolenjske Toplice is a settlement near Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia and is the seat of the Municipality of Dolenjske Toplice. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. The town lies on the Sušica River, which joins the Krka 2 km north of town. It is a spa town known for its thermal baths established in 1658 by the Counts of Auersperg.
