HK Metalurg Skopje has finished the regular season in the Croatian Inline Hockey League, the Pirates take the second place of Division A behind defending champion IHK Kuna - the only team the Pirates lost their games.
Metalurg will face in the quarterfinals the third placed team of Division B, at the moment IHK Sisak, but also team Munje has chances to gain the third place as they have two more games to play and two points less than Sisak who already has finished all games in the regular season.
The Pirates played the last regular weekend 4-0-0 winning all four games, they faced both possible opponents in the upcoming playoffs, Sisak and Munje. Munje was beaten 6:3, the team Sisak was rolled down 8:3. The other games were: vs Srake 11:0 and a real Inline Hockey highlight was the game versus the B-division leader IHK Dinamo Zagreb, in the last seconds of the game Metalurg made the eleminating score to win the game 8:7.
The quarterfinals in best of three modus will be played Mai 16 and 17.
